Kawasaki Motorcycle Project

motorcycle chassis from Jeffrey Hernandez on Vimeo.

This is a project I will be working on during and after my brake. I really excited about this project due that I was driven to attend school by transportation fascinations. This a project is sponsored by kawasaki motors and design, they came to my school with a motorcycle challenge. We are to design a motorcycle with a futuristic intent, a motorcycle that is going to be ridden in 5 years from now. The cool thing about this project is that kawasaki offered their mechanic shop to work on when the one in ours school is close. We were also provided with the chassis from a Z1000 Kawasaki motorcycle. Unfortunately, we weren't supplied with the motor; although, we a could ask for any extra parts.
The pictures here show some of the work done in the first week of the project. We took the chassis and took all the parts that weren't need it. We also lower the oil on the shocks of the front handle bars to decrease the altitude of the cylinder so I could fit our design.
The bike comes with 5 SPOKES wheels design, this is information that i find irrelevant to the infrastructure of the bike, but some people might find it very helpful. I will be posting more pictures and video from time to time as the project progresses.
