Kawasaki Motorcycle Project

motorcycle chassis from Jeffrey Hernandez on Vimeo.

This is a project I will be working on during and after my brake. I really excited about this project due that I was driven to attend school by transportation fascinations. This a project is sponsored by kawasaki motors and design, they came to my school with a motorcycle challenge. We are to design a motorcycle with a futuristic intent, a motorcycle that is going to be ridden in 5 years from now. The cool thing about this project is that kawasaki offered their mechanic shop to work on when the one in ours school is close. We were also provided with the chassis from a Z1000 Kawasaki motorcycle. Unfortunately, we weren't supplied with the motor; although, we a could ask for any extra parts.
The pictures here show some of the work done in the first week of the project. We took the chassis and took all the parts that weren't need it. We also lower the oil on the shocks of the front handle bars to decrease the altitude of the cylinder so I could fit our design.
The bike comes with 5 SPOKES wheels design, this is information that i find irrelevant to the infrastructure of the bike, but some people might find it very helpful. I will be posting more pictures and video from time to time as the project progresses.

Here is the final rendering of Aleka and the city of Bluevera. I've spend roughly 6-8 hours trying to made a good composition. This view of the city helped study and understand the life of the character I was designing. This project is now done, the final model was placed a show case at school for show. I was thrilled to see the final model, the mechanics on the head also came out illustrious.

Vluebera City render

Vluebera Project

Here is some pictures of the process of making a animatronic head. This is one of the many work in processes I have. This is a class project that Im working on with 4 classmates, so far I've had a lot of fun.

refine gray scale rendering

This took me a little bit more time. I would work on this sketch from time to time. I could say that this is still a work in process.

one of first sketches with Sketchbook pro

This is one of my sketches after I got my wacom tablet. I tried experimenting with the air brush just a little; not bad for the first time right?
